By: Michelle V and Jadyn Benak Minarets is an amazing school, full of kind people and great opportunities. Many students who have attended Minarets High School have really enjoyed their time here. Wanting to know exactly how everyone felt, students went around to ask their peers and staff their honest opinions on being a Mustang.
The foundation of an amazing school is the students. Minarets is a close-knit, friendly community, and the Mustangs prove this; Almost everyone knows everyone, and friendships are always being made between teachers and students. “I like how all the students know each other,” William Gearhart said while interviewing him. Thanks to the great people, Minarets can be an enjoyable place.

Something else almost all students agreed on was that the staff are one of the greatest parts of this school. Some Mustangs explained that they like their teachers because of how kind or how fun they are. All of the staff members are so important to Minarets, and without them, the school would not be the same.
Another thing the students and staff agreed on was that school is much easier since it is technology-based. Teachers think it is very helpful for grading, keeping track of assignments, and the accessibility of everything. The bigger majority of students prefer online work over paperwork and find it so much better. Easier workloads will have a more positive effect on both students and teachers.
One of the most prominent parts of Minarets High School is the sports program. Each year, more and more students reach out to join sports. Aubrey Lambrecht says, “The coaches here are respectful,” and her experience playing volleyball and performing for cheer has been amazing. When you join sports, you have an amazing chance to connect with your teammates, create new friends, and have fun!
Overall, Minarets is a strong school, with even stronger students and staff. Without the amazing people that make this school so enjoyable, our Mustang community wouldn’t be able to thrive like it is now.
