It's that time of year again: teachers Ryan Hansen and Micheal Vaughan are organizing the annual trip to China Peak. This year, it is scheduled for Feb. 6, 2020 and features some cost-saving deals:
If you plan on renting skis or a snowboard and getting a lift ticket it is only $45.
If you need a ticket only and have your own gear, it is $40.
If you only renting and you have a season pass it is $35.
If you have your own gear and a season pass it is $25.
If you were to go without the school it is $68 just for a lift ticket, which would not include rentals.
Teacher Ryan Hansen said his favorite part about the China Peak trip is getting outdoors and getting in the snow. In fact, students will get over nine hours of time enjoying the outdoors.Students will leave on Feb. 6, 2020 at 5:30 a.m. and get to China Peak around 7:30 a.m. Students will have a one hour lesson followed by free time where they are able to ski or snowboard on their own until around 5:00 p.m. They will return back to the school around 7:00 p.m.
Spots are very limited so if you plan on attending, turn your payment to Stacy Wold in the Media Lounge before Jan. 30th.
