The California Scholarship Federation is known for the impact it has on its members' futures. It not only provides recognition for its hardworking members, but it also gives them leadership opportunities as well as community service opportunities. Over the past few years, CSF has participated in many events, including the local Relay for Life event, Southgate Film Festival, and other SLEs.
As the school year comes to a close, it is time to show some recognition to those senior members who have put a lot of hard work into growing this organization. In fact, the Class of 2020 has the largest group of students graduating with CSF honors in Minarets High School history. It is also the first class to have more 100% members than Lifetime members. According to CSF adviser Kaitlin Morgan, "this has been an incredible group of students to work with. With their leadership and hard work, our chapter of CSF is stronger than ever before."
There are seven seniors who have received Lifetime Membership. This status means that they were in CSF for four semesters, including senior year. They will be receive an honor cord, pin, and certificate:
Davis Cesar
Frederique Dellavalle
Katelyn Hough
Lindsay Martin
Audrey Simmons
Rebecca Townsend
Hailie WarnockÂ
There are eleven students who received 100% Membership. These members have been in CSF for six semesters, including senior year and will receive an honor cord, pin, certificate, and tassel:
Mackenzie Camacho
Jayci Coon
Lindsay Gilles
Autumn Pecarovich
Alexandria Baird
Colby Jobinger
Joseph Langley
Austin Mitchell
Luna Moreno
Mandi Villanueva
Synovia Wold
In the past, these members would receive their graduation regalia at an end of the year potluck, but due to COVID-19 they will receive these items during the Senior Send Off on May 26 and 27, 2020.
Congratulations to these seniors and the entire Class of 2020!
