Minarets FFA competed in Madera Fair last week up at the Madera Fairgrounds. It was a busy week and they all continually shown great showmanship throughout their time at the fair. Some of these winners showed a variety of animals at fair including: cattle, sheep, goats, hogs, and rabbits.

Some notable wins included freshman Lucas Rezendes won Intermediate Round Robin as well as Reserve Supreme Market Hog. Junior Jake Dowell won Advanced Round Robin and senior Hailie Warnock was Reserve Supreme Market Lamb.

Ag teacher Jessica Sweet stated that she spent her time at fair advising dairy cattle and steer, but stayed busy with al the kids. There's no doubt that she also watched some of these students receive their prizes and awards with a smile on her face.

Congratulations to everyone who won!
